Maternal Herbal

Supports Relief From

Maternal Herbal is a warming tonic formula designed to support female fertility and promote healthy reproductive function in individuals with yang or blood deficiency patterns. It is also used to boost libido and address underlying energetic weakness tied to fatigue, poor circulation, or irregular menstruation.

This formula is most appropriate when symptoms point to depletion of Qi, blood, or kidney yang, all of which can contribute to infertility, low energy, and lack of reproductive vitality from a Chinese Medicine perspective.

How It Works Holistically

Developed from Dr. Fung’s 60 years of clinical experience, Maternal Herbal strengthens the body’s core resources essential for reproductive wellness. Asian ginseng (ren shen) provides foundational Qi support, enhancing stamina and metabolism. Cistanche (rou cong rong) and epimedium (yin yang huo) warm and invigorate kidney yang, which is often weakened in women experiencing infertility or low libido.

Rehmannia (shu di huang) and dong quai (dang gui) nourish blood and regulate the menstrual cycle, while ligustrum (nu zhen zi) balances internal heat and helps nourish yin alongside yang support. Deer antler velvet (lu rong) and morinda (ba ji tian) provide powerful essence and blood tonification to restore strength and support fertility.

To enhance circulation and relieve stagnation, ligusticum (chuan xiong) and evodia (wu zhu yu) are included. Poria, cassia bark, and cayenne harmonize digestion, promote warmth, and improve absorption—key for those with digestive weakness or cold signs that impact reproductive health.

When Maternal Herbal Is Right for You

Choose Maternal Herbal if you experience signs of Qi or yang deficiency like cold hands and feet, low libido, irregular periods, fatigue, or fertility challenges that arise from an underlying deficiency pattern. It’s best suited for individuals who run cold, feel depleted, or have trouble building strength and warmth in the body.
