Dry cough, dry throat, or chronic sore throat
Lily Bulb Formula
Supports Relief From
Lily Bulb Formula supports relief from persistent dry coughs, throat irritation, and lung-related symptoms often tied to yin deficiency. It helps soothe tissues, ease respiratory dryness, and reduce chronic inflammation or irritation in the lungs and throat.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this formula nourishes lung and kidney yin, strengthens the respiratory system, and stops coughing by moistening dryness and clearing internal heat. It’s often used for chronic or post-illness conditions where dryness and heat symptoms linger.
How It Works Holistically
This formula replenishes yin fluids and restores balance to the lungs and respiratory passages. Tiger lily bulb (bai he) and ophiopogon (mai men dong) moisten and cool the lungs, calming dryness-related cough and inflammation. Cooked rehmannia (shu di huang) and Chinese peony (bai shao) nourish yin and blood, supporting long-term healing and tissue repair.
To support immunity and soothe the throat, Astragalus (huang qi) and platycodon (jie geng) help relieve rhinitis and throat discomfort, while Sichuan fritillary (chuan bei mu) stops cough and transforms phlegm. Licorice (gan cao) harmonizes the formula and enhances its gentle detoxifying effect.

This formula is ideal for individuals experiencing dry, unproductive coughing, irritated throat, or lung dryness—especially if accompanied by symptoms like night sweats, hot palms and feet, or yin deficiency.
