Isatis Cooling Formula is designed to help resolve chronic or acute inflammation in the digestive, reproductive, or urinary systems—especially when accompanied by heat signs such as burning sensations, strong odors, or discharge. It may be helpful for conditions like irritable bowel symptoms, prostatitis, colitis, or vaginal infections when heat and dampness are present.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this formula clears internal heat and toxins, drains dampness, and promotes circulation of Qi and blood. It’s particularly well-suited to cases where heat and stagnation are the root cause of chronic inflammation.

Gardenia and bupleurum help eliminate heat and regulate Qi flow, while dong quai and red peony invigorate blood circulation to support long-term tissue repair. Codonopsis and alisma assist in fluid metabolism and tonify the digestive system, helping the body clear damp-heat more efficiently.

This formula is best suited for individuals experiencing burning pain, redness, swelling, or discharge in the lower abdomen, urinary tract, or reproductive system—particularly when those symptoms worsen with heat, stress, or inflammatory foods. It's also a strong fit for managing hot-type gastrointestinal issues such as Crohn’s, colitis, or ulcers.
