Low energy, dizziness, cold limbs, and menstrual irregularity

Eight Treasures

Supports Relief From

Eight Treasures is a foundational formula for fatigue, pale complexion, lightheadedness, low appetite, and cold hands or feet. It supports healthy blood production and circulation—especially after illness, menstruation, or surgery—and may also relieve symptoms like dry skin, brittle hair, and irregular menstruation.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), these symptoms reflect a deficiency of both Qi and blood. Eight Treasures strengthens spleen Qi and nourishes the blood, promoting vitality, balanced menstrual cycles, and overall resilience in those with chronic depletion or poor recovery from exertion.

How It Works Holistically

Eight Treasures combines two classic formulas: Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen) for Qi deficiency and Si Wu Tang (Four Substances) for blood deficiency. Codonopsis boosts energy and digestive strength; cooked rehmannia, peony, and dong quai nourish and move the blood. Bai-zhu and licorice reinforce the spleen and aid nutrient absorption. Ligusticum and millettia improve blood circulation, easing muscle tension and supporting athletes or anyone with overexertion-related depletion. Ginger and jujube harmonize digestion and further support absorption.

This formula is often used during the menstrual cycle (post-period to ovulation) to replenish what has been lost and to rebuild vitality.

When Eight Treasures Is Right for You

Use Eight Treasures when your body feels worn down and in need of rebuilding—especially if your symptoms point to both low energy and signs of blood deficiency, such as pallor, dizziness, or irregular menstruation. It’s equally helpful for men and women recovering from illness, overwork, or stress.
