The day gets loud. You don't.
Twice a day on stressful days.
A nine-herb formula for all-day calm — with buffered magnesium glycinate and taurine. Calm you can work through, because there is nothing sedating in it.
It is rarely one big thing. It is forty small ones with no gaps between them.
This is the day people describe when they tell us why they went looking. Not a crisis — just a day that never quite lets you put anything down.
- 7:10Already behindBefore anyone has asked you for anything, the list is longer than the day.
- 9:30The first pileForms, a bill you meant to deal with, someone else's deadline landing on your desk.
- 13:00Wired, not productiveBusy all morning, and you could not say what actually got finished.
- 17:45The handoverWork stops and the other job starts. The switch never quite happens.
- 22:30Still goingLights off, body still running the day back at full volume.
Most calm products are built for that last line only. This one is built for the whole column — taken twice a day on the days you can already see coming, not saved for bedtime as damage control.
Calm is easy. Calm you can still work through is the hard part.
Anything strong enough to flatten a loud day will also flatten you, which is no use at all if the day still has six hours left in it. Calm Spirit is built the other way.
Nothing in it is there to switch you off
No melatonin, no sedative. It is formulated to help quiet a busy mind, not to end your afternoon.
Nervous-system support, not a knockout
An amino acid that supports the nervous system and a healthy stress response — the part of the formula doing the daytime work.
Buffered glycinate, so you can take it at work
The gentle, highly absorbable form. Citrate and oxide are the reason most people will not take magnesium during a working day.
Nothing to mix at your desk
Three capsules, with or without food. No powder, no measuring, no explaining it to anyone.
It takes nerves down a notch… doesn't have a sleepy effect. Verified retailer review · the line that describes this product better than our own copy does
Calm Spirit · 90 capsules · No melatonin · Non-habit-forming
Nine herbs, one amino acid, and the gentle form of magnesium.
A complete classical formula rather than one trendy ingredient in a big bottle — each part supporting the others, which is the whole idea behind a traditional Chinese formula.
Amounts per 3-capsule serving. 90 capsules per bottle.
The nine herbs, with the pinyin they are known by
- Jujube fruit suan zao ren
- Polygala root yuan zhi
- Albizzia bark he huan pi
- Poria sclerotium fu ling
- Dong Quai root dang gui
- Chinese Peony root bai shao
- Ophiopogon root mai men dong
- Codonopsis root dang shen
- Hawthorn fruit shan zha
Twice a day on stressful days. Not twice a day forever.
You usually know by Monday which week this is going to be. That is the week to have it on the shelf.
-
Up to three capsules, three times a day
With or without food. Three capsules, three times a day is the full therapeutic dose — the most the formula is written for, not the least.
-
Start with one dose, and see
If one dose gets you where you need to be, stop there. Take another only when you need it again — not on a schedule.
-
On the days you expect to need it
The loud week, the stretch with no gaps in it, the run-up to something. Not every day, forever.
-
Start before the noise, not after
The morning dose is the one people forget. Taken early, it is support for the day — taken late, it is damage control.
Being straight with you about the math. A 90-capsule bottle is roughly ten to fifteen days at the full dose, and considerably longer if one dose is all you need. That is exactly why we suggest keeping it for the days you know will be loud rather than taking it around the clock — it is how the formula is meant to be used, and it is the honest answer to “how long does a bottle last.”
Calm Spirit · 90 capsules · No melatonin · Non-habit-forming
It has been on practitioners' shelves for forty years.
The first company to manufacture Chinese herbal products in the United States for practitioners. Not an importer, and not a wellness brand that discovered herbs last year.
Calm Spirit is a dispensary formula. It was made for the practitioner's shelf first and reached the consumer shelf second.
Modified Ding Xin Wan — the classical “Settle the Heart Pill,” modernized. Centuries of use behind it, made to modern manufacturing standards.
I have used this on the advice of an acupuncturist and have found it to help relax me at night.
Sleeping uninterrupted is the goal and Calm Spirit can help you through the night.
These are individual experiences shared in customer reviews and are not a guarantee of results. What Calm Spirit does for you depends on you.
One thing worth knowing before you order.
Individuals with spleen qi deficiency should take Calm Spirit with caution, as loose stools or diarrhea may result. If that phrase means something to you, you already know whether it applies. If it does not, your acupuncturist or practitioner can tell you in about a minute.
And the ordinary one: if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication, talk to your healthcare practitioner before starting this or any supplement.
The day is going to be what it is.
Nine herbs, taurine and gentle magnesium, in the formula practitioners have reached for since 1984. Ninety capsules, nothing sedating, nothing to wean yourself off.
