Respiratory Allergies

Allergies occur when the immune system reacts to a foreign substance or a food that doesn’t cause a reaction in most people. Allergic diseases include hay fever, food allergies, atopic dermatitis, allergic asthma, symptoms may include red eyes, an itchy rash, sneezing, a runny nose, shortness of breath, or swelling. We look at allergic triggers as well as constitutional, environmental, lifestyle and dietary factors in treating the allergic patient. In addition, we discuss prevention strategies, three phases of treatment, and helping patients with both acute and chronic symptoms. Case studies are presented.

Andrew Gaeddert, RH, founder of Health Concerns, takes an east-west approach to allergies combining traditional Chinese medicine, nutrition and lifestyle approaches. He has developed protocols that are used by thousands of health professionals in North America.
