Herbal Adaptogens

Modern studies have shown that adaptogens can improve the resistance of humans under a wide range of external stress conditions especially by affecting the immune-neuro-endocrine system and the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis.

In this webinar, we feature herbal adaptogens used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and their application in adrenal fatigue, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, arthritis, and integrative approaches to cancer. Pharmacological activity, mechanism of action, and the use of adaptogens in pills, powders, teas, tinctures are included. Clinical tips on using Ginseng, astragalus, schisandra, licorice, rhodiola, gandoderma, and curcumin are presented with illustrative case studies.

Andrew Gaeddert, RH, founder of Health Concerns, has worked with adaptogens for over thirty-five years. He has been involved in pioneering research at the University of California. He is the author of Healing Immune DisordersHealing Digestive Disorders, and numerous articles.
