One out of two men develops a prostate problem before they turn sixty. Most prostate problems begin with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BHP). Hyperplasia means an abnormal increase in the numbers of prostate cells. The prostate can double or triple in size, compressing the bladder and/or the urinary duct leading urination difficulties. As the prostate enlargement progresses, it becomes difficult to clear the urine in a timely manner, leading to the buildup of metabolic products, toxins, and infectious agents.
The herbal formula Essence Chamber has helped thousands of men with BPH. It is an East–West blend containing saw palmetto and supportive Chinese herbs designed to improve urinary retention, difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and dribbling urination. In TCM, it clears damp heat and promotes urination. Although Essence Chamber works very well by itself, adding Curcuma Flow may improve clinical results.
In a sixty-one patient BPH study, men 55 years of age to 65 years of age, taking Curcuma Flow were compared with the control group that received standard care. Subjects taking two capsules of Curcuma Flow per day were found after twenty-four weeks, to have lower PSA and risk of infections. Improvement of the following symptoms were observed: incomplete bladder emptying, repeated need to urinate, urination intermittency, weak urine stream, urgency, straining and getting up a night to urinate.
