67 year old female, weighs 87 lbs., with severe yin deficiency. Tongue is red/purple, raw absolutely no coat. Severe stabbing pain along hypochondria area. Has chronic vomiting (for 2-3 years). Takes Tylenol-Codeine for pain but it causes constipation. I put her on Ecliptex and Ease Plus. Do you have any recommendations for constipation, pain?

I believe Ecliptex and Ease Plus are good choices. Why don’t you administer them for 2-4 weeks and call back. An alternative combo would be Shu Gan and Channel Flow.
