44 year old female using Woman’s Balance and Nine Flavor Tea to smooth out emotions, yin deficiency. Two weeks ago, she was drinking beer (3-4 cans) and eating pizza (3-4 slices) at 5-6 pm. Around 9 pm her joints were aching so she took Celebrex (which has been prescribed for Lyme disease). Later on that night, she went into anaphylactic shock, went to hospital, turned beet red and had a lot of vomiting. Dr.’s told her to discontinue herbs and Celebrex. No history of problems with herbs or meds in past. Any ideas what may have happened and what to do now.
