23 year old female had a tumor removed from the left side of her brain. She now has steel plates in her head and has lost the use of her left eye. At times, she suffers pain in the head, but acupuncture and herbs help. Currently, she is using SPES (Chinese formula that includes rei shi and ginseng) to keep the tumor from re-activating. She is also taking Neuretin (400mg), Celebrex (200mg), Morphine Sulfate, Nostrystylan (50mg), Atenolol Loizipan and Zao Guei (left-side replenishing pill), Tang Kuei Gen (2 tsp/day). Patient is blood deficient, left kidney deficient and damp heat in gallbladder. Currently, blood pressure is 117/78 and tends to go up. She has had muscle tests done for all but the prescription meds. What kind of insight can you lend to this?

If the Zao Guei is made in China it is poor quality, and Tang Kuei Gen is full of preservatives. I would use Astra Essence instead of both of the aforementioned. I would stop using those items because of the poor quality control. Otherwise, I think it is a good protocol.
