Liver Regeneration and Repair

Most common types of liver disease are hepatitis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and cirrhosis liver disease that can be inherited, or caused by a variety of factors that damage the liver, such as viruses and alcohol use. Obesity is also associated with liver damage. Over time, damage to the liver results in scarring (cirrhosis), that can lead to liver failure, a life-threatening condition. Many herbalists and acupuncturists see clients with Hepatitis C or that have damaged their liver through alcohol, recreational or pharmaceutical drugs. We will discuss treating the symptoms of liver disease, medication side effects, and suggest tips to restore optimum/optimal liver function. The great news is the liver can be regenerated!
