Health Concerns: Combining Modern Research & Ancient Wisdom

Treating Pain with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs Part 4: Tips from the Masters

October 22, 2015 (9 - 10am)

The last 30 years have witnessed a phenomenal growth in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture and its role in treating pain has aroused the most interest in TCM, particularly among American patients. Chinese medicine seeks to do more than the generally palliative relief offered by Western medicine. By using traditional methods of diagnosis, differentiation and treatment selection, authentic Chinese medicine strives to combine the treatment of the root cause as well as the symptoms. The insertion of needles and the dispensing of herbs is the final act in a refined process of diagnosis and evaluation.

Join us for a new, four-part course series: Treating Pain with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. In each, hour-long class, Andrew Gaeddert will review best practices from the USA and China to help you better treat your patients dealing with pain from the head to toe. There will be a detailed review of many traditional Chinese herbal formulas as well as their modern equivalents. Andrew will also discuss the favored treatment protocols, including specific acupuncture points, from a number of leading acupuncturists from around the country.

It is free to attend the live broadcast of this webinar series. After the live broadcast, it will be made available as a paid, accredited distance learning course.
